Matt, Lauren and Nick, There are no words that can adequately express my sympathies to you and your extended family. Lilla was my best friend and I never felt apart from her even though I am now in Florida 30 years. If I needed a laugh, wise counsel or encouragement, Lilla was the one to go to. From the moment we met in 1979 she has always had a special place in my life and heart. Lilla would always keep me up to date on how you were and even though I wasn't there in person I felt as though I watched Lauren and Nick grow up. The amazing adults that you have become are a testament to the character of your Mom and Dad. Your Mom was "the best" and I will miss her terribly. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. xoxoxo
